My ultimate travel bucket list

Looking for inspiration about where to go next or what destinations to add to your ultimate travel bucket list? Then keep reading this post, where I’ll be sharing 5 dream destinations that are very high on my travel bucket list!

Have you ever seen the movie called “The Bucket List“? It’s such a cool and inspiring movie, where two friends decide to go on great travels and adventures while they still have time. The whole idea behind is that now is the time to do things and having a bucket list laying around and not doing anything to make it happen, it is as useful as not having one. That movie inspired me to start crossing things off my travel bucket list and let me tell you, it’s a long list!!
So for today’s post, I’m sharing some of those items that are really high on my ultimate travel bucket list, and if they ever come to reality, I’ll be very happy!

Ultimate travel bucket list

Northern Lights

Number one on my travel bucket list would have to be the Nothern lights!
One of those things I do not want to die without experiencing! 😍 And I’m not a fan of cold destinations, but for this, and this only, I will make an exception.

the Maldives

The second destination on this ultimate travel list are the Maldives!
I love the beach, Sun, white sands, and warm waters. It describes the Maldives perfectly, doesn’t it?
Every time I see photos of it, I think: “One day I have to go there”!!

Sincerely hope it won’t take me a lifetime to visit this paradise on Earth, that unfortunately, won’t last forever…

Grand Canyon

The third destination on this bucket list: Grand Canyon!
Even though most people think I like cities more than Nature, I do appreciate some quietness and tranquility that only places like the Grand Canyon can transmit.
At least, that’s how I imagine it…

Just sitting there, admiring its magnitude… Must be breathtaking, right?

Canada’s natural parks

Another trip to just absorb Nature’s beauty, unwind, and disconnect.
Every time I see photos of natural parks in Canada, my jaw just drops… so beautiful!! I could not leave it out of my ultimate travel bucket list! And neither should you; look at this beauty!

Has any of you been in any? What was your experience like?

Australia and New Zealand

Last but not least, on this ultimate travel bucket list are Australia and New Zealand!
Probably because this is “on the other side of the World” for me, I’ve always been interested in it; how cool it must be to be sooooo far away from home? I even mentioned it on my top 10 travel destinations post.
Not to forget, that both Australia and New Zealand are beautiful countries and with much to offer and see, no matter what kind of traveler you are.

It was devastating to see the destruction caused by the massive fires in Australia… 😥

One can dream without feeling guilty, right? 😇
Not sure if I will ever cross any of the items off, but I’m sure I’ll do my best so it becomes reality.

  1. I would honestly love to visit all of the places you mentioned – as a matter of fact, there are very few places in the world I have no interest in visiting! When it comes to my bucket list, the top places at the moment are Santorini, the Maldives, Los Angeles, Barcelona, Amsterdam and Budapest, and of course seeing the Northern Lights!

  2. I did not expect the Northern Lights to be such a popular bucket list item! haha
The Maldives is like a paradise, isn't it?! Wouldn't' mind to go there, even if not on honeymoon haha

  3. I sooooo want to see the Northern Lights! Ocassionally we can see them where I live (I haven’t) but I want to go to Norway/Iceland to get the proper experience! Also New Zealand is super high on my bucket list too!

    1. I never thought the Northern Lights were so popular, but I guess it’s natural. Such a magical phenom, right?

  4. If you go to Australia, visit Kangaroo Island – one of my absolute favorite places on Earth. It was just amazing. I want to see the Northern Lights, and I plan on doing it from Iceland, so that I can also see puffins!
