Hello!!
Today’s post is all about the super quick visit to Lisbon this past weekend, that lasted only 24 hours!
You must think I am crazy, and in a way, you’re not that far from the truth, but you know, sometimes you have to do crazy things and be spontaneous.
Before doubting if I should go or not, due to very expensive flight tickets, I decided that more important than money is to spend time with your family and friends, and even more on a special occasion.
Since last Saturday, I celebrated my birthday, as gift to myself I decided to fly to Lisbon and spend the day with my loved ones.
And you know what? It was worth it!!! 😂
The weather was fantastic with clear blue skies, bright sun and warm temperatures! A perfect break from the colder snowy days… Honestly, once you experience the Central/Northern European winters, then Portugal becomes very tropical!

Life is made of moments, and it’s up to us to choose which ones to make it happen and how to cherish them.
When my time comes, I only wish my heart is full with great memories of moments like this past weekend!
My heart is warm and I cannot wait to go back and meet my loved ones!
See you soon!

Lovely! Life is really about moments and there are few things more important than making memories with loved ones. Sort of unrelated but I would really appreciate your advice – I'll have a layover of 6 hours (daytime) in Lisbon later this year. It'll be my first time in Portugal but I want to avoid waiting in line for ages at tourist attractions. Where should I go? Eat? More importantly: where can I take gorgeous photos like these? haha – LK || http://www.lorikemi.com
