Hello!!
Ready for part 3?
Sit back, relax and enjoy the ride! 😎
We took the subway to the Vatican city and later on back to Rome.
As I mentioned on Part 1, we did not go for visits inside the monuments because time was limited and the lines were huge!
Something for on a second visit to Rome.
Enjoy our second day:
Saint Peter’s Square – 1 |
Saint Peter’s Square – 2 |
Sistine Chapel |
The view towards old Rome from the Lungotevere Castello |
Book fair and Saint Angelo Castle |
Trevi Fountain |
The Pantheon |
All photos taken with Sony a6000.
Walked distance = 12km.

Totally recommend you to take subway and buses anytime you can, especially if you are not in town for long. Consider to get a 24h ticket, for 7Eur, which is valid for subway + tram + bus. You are entitled to take as many rides as you wich within the 24h after purchasing the ticket.
Even though there are only two subway lines, it is quite easy to move around in the city.

But, if you intend to visit the old historical center, count on your feet and buses!
