On today’s post, I thought it would be nice to share with you how my blogging journey has been going on, what I still like about it and what I don’t.
I remember very well the day I had this crazy thought of creating a blog; I was driving home back from work and thinking about life and my experience as an immigrant. And this was almost 4 years ago.
Throughout the years, there were moments that I was more into blogging than others. Sometimes it just felt like there was nothing to share or at least relevant to my readers.
It hasn’t been always easy to come here and write content that I am satisfied with; because the last thing I want to have is a blog without content and just random stuff.
It does help to have a schedule (2 posts/week) in order to create content and take photos (which helps me to improve my photography skills). And you know, this is a very nice hobby!!
Believe it or not, but this hobby takes quite some time, effort and preparation in order to write a post but in the end, I am always happy that I did it. And it makes me even happier to see that more and more people read this blog, leave a comment, follow on social media and all that jazz.
It’s very nice to have feedback from you! I really appreciate it.
May was an extraordinary month for the blog; had the highest page views of all time in a single month and a lot of social media interaction.
I am mostly active on Twitter, but also on Facebook and Instagram. If you like, give me/the blog a follow to stay up to date.
On Twitter, I found great support and boost for the blog, by joining RT accounts that are sweet enough to share my content with their followers. Believe me, it’s a GREAT help!
Also, participating in Twitter chats has been so amazing, as I get to know fellow bloggers and really nice people. Unfortunately, life has been a bit busy and I haven’t been able to join as many chats lately as I’d like to.
I read several stories of people having troubles with the community, but so far, for me, it has been only positive! #happy
And, what would you like to read from me? Did you know that on the Contact page you can drop me a little message?
So, if you’ve got any requests or things you’d like to read my opinion about, just hit the contact form and tell me.
But before I go, let me say OBRIGADA (thank you in Portuguese) for you being here and reading my stories.
See you soon!

I'm so glad that you are finding the community a good thing. You asked about which posts we would like to see. I would love to see which beauty products you would recommend right now. What do you love writing about the most?
I am already liking your blog in every way! I like all kinds of posts, nothing in particular. I am happy that you mentioned about having a blog and how we need to put in efforts to make it work. I am also new to blogging and facing such problems as I most of the times do not know what to post, which I guess will improve with time.
Hi Sazra!
Thank you so much for stopping by and leave a comment.
I will keep your suggestion in mind for future posts. 😉
Hello!
Thank you for your sweet comment.
I faced that same problem of not knowing what to post and sometimes that's really nothing relevant to post and that is also fine.
I hope you enjoy blogging and come back. I will check out your blog!
