Hello!!
I have been wanting to share this post with you for a while now, as I got this kit back in October. But somehow I never found the time to take good photos of it or lip swatches (which I was not able to do anyhow). Yeah, blame it on the bad Dutch weather and lack of sunny hours…
So with this in mind, I figured I would share my thoughts about it even though the post is lacking some photos. On the other hand, the way the lipsticks swatch on my lips will most likely be very different than yours. We are all different, with different skin textures and tones…
I hope you enjoy the post and let me know in the comments section if you’ve tried any of these products.
Let’s get started!

What’s in the kit:
When you buy this kit, you can expect 6 mini-size lipsticks: 3 liquid formula and 3 in a bullet tube. All nude colored but with different undertones, from a more rosy tone to a more tan/brown color.
The kit is built in a way that can fit almost anybody’s skin tone and personal preferences.
The kit is built in a way that can fit almost anybody’s skin tone and personal preferences.
- 0.07 oz/ 2.1 g Bite Beauty Multistick in Brioche (rich terracotta)
- 0.07 oz/ 2 mL Buxom® Full-On Lip Cream in Dolly (sultry mauve)
- 0.22 oz/ 6.5 mL Full-size Ciaté London Liquid Velvet Moisturizing Matte Liquid Lipstick in Bitter Sweet (gray mink)
- 0.10 oz/ 3 mL Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Ludwig (nude fawn)
- 0.04 oz/ 1.4 g MAKE UP FOR EVER Artist Rouge in C211 (rosewood)
- 0.035 oz/ 1 g tarteâ„¢ Rainforest of the Seaâ„¢ Color Splash Lipstick in Rum Punch (nude)
But my kit did not have the full-size Ciaté liquid lipstick; quite a bummer I must say.
All are very comfortable to wear, except perhaps the Buxom one due to its glossy/sticky consistency. If it’s a windy day, don’t wear it!
Both the Bite and the MakeUpForever ones are more matt than the Tarte one.
My favorites:
Of all 5 included in my kit (instead of 6…), at the moment my favorites are the Bite and the Make Up Forever lipsticks.
They are both very easy to apply and last quite long on the lips; of course, it all depends on what you eat & drink but you can count on a good 3h wear without troubles.
My least favorite:
Maybe it’s because I had quite high expectations about this brand and in particular this formula, I have to admit that the Kat Von D liquid lipstick is my least favorite.
I still like the color a lot, but it just does not feel comfortable on my lips, it dries them out faster than usual, and even though I’d wait until fully dry (the lipstick on the lips, I mean), all it takes is a sip of water and it’s gone…
Maybe I’m doing something wrong; if any of you owns one of these please let me know any tips&tricks!
Do I recommend it?
Yes!! It’s a great package for the value and you get to try many nude lipsticks.
For those of you who don’t want to pay full price for something you don’t if you’ll like, this kit is a great option!
Find this kit at Sephora.com for $28.00.

Huummm, looks nice 😉
I've been looking at this kit. I may have to scoop it up.
Indeed, that's what I realized as well. Also a great way to try new stuff without buying the full size before you even know if you like it or not. 🙂

Since, last December I am more into nude shades. So I purchased this set when it got relished, without thinking for the second time. I always love Sephora sets. I always purchase almost all sets of them. I love this set of this year, different shades with good pigmentation. Also, all of them are from high-end brands too. I did makeup lesson by Lina Cameron , met Jenny there, she also loves this sets. From this set, I love kvd one most. its so pigmented and a pure nude shade for me! Its not drying at all and feels so comfortable on my lips. I always love Kvd items. they are really good for oily pore skin and suits me so well! <3
Hi Ena!
Thanks for stopping by! Glad you're also a fan of these sets. A pity they aren't available here in Europe.
Sephora always comes up with such nice gift sets, isn't it?
