Blogging | Which tools I use to keep up with blogging

Blogging | Which tools I use to keep up with blogging.

Hello!
Some time ago, I wrote a post about the TOP 5 tools I use for blogging, and even though those are still up to date, I thought that it was about time to give share some more of other tools I use in order to keep my “blogging life” in order and going.
Not sure if you know, but I have a full-time job (+40h/week), so blogging is a hobby of mine, that requires a lot of my free time and of myself.

Of course, everyone has their own way of blogging, but knowing myself, I try to keep it as “pro” as possible, because I can’t do it any other way… haha Or at least, that’s what I try.

Therefore, how do I keep up with blogging while having a full-time job?
An easy answer would be, lots of planning. This combined with scheduling, helps me to keep the blog as up to date as I possibly can, while having busy days, a house, a partner, family, and friends to attend to.
But let’s talk tech:

HP Pavillion 14-bf180nd

I also found out, that every time I would be away from home, I wouldn’t be able to post as frequently as I wanted or even get some “blogging work” done ahead. To help with this, I purchase a smaller laptop than the one I use at home. It’s super travel-friendly: lightweight, compact, long battery life and fast.
It has enough RAM and a fast processor to allow me to do some photo editing while on the go.

LaCie external drive

I am paranoid about the idea of losing my files, for whatever reason; that’s why I have tons of backups in different drives.
Also, if you travel and take photos, I totally recommend purchasing a LaCie external drive; they are water, shock, and dust resistant.
For on the go, I use a 1TB; I call him “Safe Orange”. haha
This guy, goes with me, anywhere I go.

Erin Condren Planner

My relationship with Erin Condren’s planners has its ups & downs, but which relationship doesn’t?! haha
I have been using them for the last 3 years, sometimes very intensively, sometimes I hardly touch them. Until I found out their best use for my lifestyle and activities: as a blogging planner.
I use the monthly spread to plan out some blog post ideas; this way, they’re not all in my head and I can try to make the posts as diverse as I can.
At this point, this guy is my main helper when it comes to planning out any activities I do after work, whether they’re blogging related or not.

Buffer

And of course, I could not end this post without mention Buffer.
Seriously, this platform helps me TONS with scheduling all my social media activity; otherwise, I would never be able to post so frequently on Twitter nor on Instagram. I have talked about it before on TOP 5 tools I use for blogging post.
Last but not least, and even though it’s not a tool or tech related, it helps me a lot to have a partner who supports me doing this blogging thing, giving me space and time I need in order to create content for the blog or any of my social media platforms.
For those of you who blog: I am sure you’ll understand how important it is to be surrounded by people who support and understand what blogging can ask from you.
Because believe me, all of you non-bloggers reading this post, it takes a lot!
But you know what? I love doing it!!
I hope you enjoyed this post, yet a bit more tech-oriented or perhaps more “for bloggers”.
If you are a fellow blogger, let me know in the comments which tools you use.
And for those of you non-bloggers: I hope you found some of these items interesting to you. They are all good and suitable for many purposes!
