Hello!!
New Year means new travel plans for me, hahaha!
I must be honest, January is by far the month where I spend every single free hour searching for places to visit, checking my agenda/calendar and trying to plan new trips for the year ahead.
Planning trips is something I truly enjoy; the scary part of it is trying to find free time in two busy agendas, like mine and Mr. A’s.
But anyway, let’s get to today’s post, shall we?

ToggleTravel Plans for 2020
Portugal
Lisbon
No surprises here; family and friends are there, so I’ll be coming home at least once per quarter.
Porto
I am going to try to squeeze a weekend in this beautiful city, which I haven’t been in a long while. Perhaps, somewhere in October, if possible.
Hungary
Budapest
Along with Vienna, I believe Budapest might be one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, and I haven’t been there yet!
I have this idea just from the travel posts I read from fellow travel bloggers or pictures I see on Instagram.
I really hope I can find a free weekend in 2020 to go and visit Budapest for the first time!
Fingers crossed!
Denmark
Copenhagen
Copenhagen: another European city that I’ve been trying to visit for the longest time even mentioned on my Top 10 destinations but somehow, the hotel prices always throw me off.
I hope 2020 will be the year.
Question: What would be the best time of the year to visit Copenhagen?
Japan
Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto
If all goes as planned, I’ll be traveling to this dream destination very soon!!!
I’m currently working on the itinerary and will soon book our flight tickets, so, I’d say it’s almost certain that I’ll be stepping Japan soil this year!
Another item off the bucket list, hopefully!

I could, of course, make more plans, but the reality is that both I and Mr. A have to work, have bills to pay and there is limited time to travel when you would look at both our schedules.
But hey, dreaming and trying to make your plans come to reality is something one should never give up!
So let’s see which of these travel plans will come to reality in 2020.
Have you got any travel plans for 2020?
Where would you like to go?

I love Porto! I'd love to see more of Portugal as my entire crew is from there. I'll be going to Honduras for a month for my dive master certification and hopefully somewhere in Europe this fall, still TBD!

You would love Japan , I went there in 2009 (post about it on my blog) , but all other of your destination sounds fab too! I don't have travel plan this year as husb and I want to finish redecorating our house( new windows etc) but for 2021 we are planning our honeymoon either way in Japan or NZ.
